Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and draft a variety of legal documents related to medical malpractice cases.
Manage all phases of medical malpractice litigation including depositions, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and trial execution.
Advise clients on their legal rights and responsibilities, providing them with the best possible representation.
Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure the successful resolution of cases.
Stay updated with the latest developments in medical law and medical malpractice litigation.
Represent the firm and its clients in court hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations.
Develop strategies and arguments in preparation for the presentation of cases.
Maintain client relationships and communicate regularly to provide case updates.
Ensure compliance with state and federal laws as well as ethical standards of the legal profession.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate (J.
D.
) degree from an accredited law school.
Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing.
A minimum of 3 years of experience as an attorney with a focus on medical malpractice.
Proven experience in medical malpractice litigation.
Excellent knowledge of medical law and legal procedures.
Exceptional research, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases and tasks, and work well under pressure.
Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong commitment to professional development and willingness to stay updated with the latest advancements in medical law and malpractice litigation.
High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
